closer to nature by hiking or cycling.
You’ll be able to experience our unique Māori culture and see
native forests, snow-capped mountains, white sandy beaches,
picture-perfect lakes and stunning fjords - in fact, nowhere in
New Zealand is more than 128 kilometres (80 miles) from the
sea so you are never far from stunning sandy beaches to enjoy.
The College’s location on the North Island is within 40 minutes
of white sand beaches on the East Coast and an hour’s drive to
the West Coast’s black sands.
